I-TRAIN   (Anita Richards and others)

https://almascience.eso.org/tools/eu-arc-network/i-train  I-TRAIN 6 on Self-Calibration (several links for talks and tutorial material) - (see other I-TRAINS also)

DARA (Jack Radcliffe, Anita Richards and others)

http://www.jb.man.ac.uk/DARA/unit4/unit4.html  See Workshops links.  Mainly cm-wave but web page guidance very detailed, designed to be accessible to people with little/no CASA or even Linux experience.  Note that this material is now in common with ERIS in many cases.

There is an ERIS ALMA spectral line tutorial from 2019 which is a cut-down version of the TW Hya CASA Guide, but as there will be another ERIS in 2022 perhaps better to wait?

Measuring Star Formation in the Radio, Millimetre, and Submillimetre:
Practical Information

Venue

Alan Turing Building

The Alan Turing Building, which is the home of the UK ALMA Regional Centre Node (from the University of Manchester website).

The meeting will be in the Lovell Room on the third floor of the Alan Turing Building. Signs will be posted directing people to the meeting room.

The University of Manchester is located close to Manchester city centre.  Frequent trains travel from the rest of the UK to Manchester Piccadilly Station.  Manchester Airport is about 20 km away and is accessible by a 15-30 minute train journey.  Additional travel information is available from the University of Manchester maps and travel webpage.

The Alan Turing Building  is on Upper Brook Street between Booth Street East and Brunswick Street. On the university's interactive map, it is building number 46. The building is about a 20 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station.  A taxi from the station to the building takes 5-10 minutes and costs less than £5. The entrance to the building is on the southern side of the central block of the building. Upon entering the building, the lifts and stairs are to the right.

Coffee/Lunch

We will provide coffee during breaks in the morning and in the afternoon on all days of the meeting.

We are charging an optional fee of £25 for catered lunches.  This fee will cover all three days of the meeting.
