ALMA Cycle 4 'Large Programs' announcement
The Joint ALMA Observatory has released further information on proposing for Large Programs within ALMA Cycle 4.
A large program is defined as a project which request more than 50 hours observing with either the 12-m or 7-m arrays in stand alone mode. Observing for large program will only be possible in standard observing modes with up to 15% of the anticipated Cycle 4 time (3000 hours for 12-m and 1800 for 7-m arrays) potentially being allocated to these large projects.
For such large projects additional proposal criteria will be required and information on this plus the Large Program review process is available at this webpage.
